This standard (Part 2) prescribes requirements and methods of sampling and test for flat brushes for paints and varnishes, made from bristles and set in suitable cement, generally used in household purposes including but not limited to the areas of household consumers, small sign painters, art designers as well as for application of lubricants on machine parts and for cleaning of machinery.
