Elements include physical and electrical features of the transmission medium; electrical transmission signaling method used by the Physical protocol; signals and services supplied at interface between Physical and Media Access Control entities; frame formats transmitted; Token Bus Media Access Protocol; Services supplied at the conceptual interface between Medium Access Control (MAC) sublayer and PROWAY Link Control (PLC) sublayer above it; PROWAY Link Control (PLC) protocol; Services supplied at conceptual interface between User of PROWAY and PROWAY Link Control (PLC) sublayer; and management of PROWAY stations.
