To establish criteria for adherence to manufacturer-defined flow characteristics and to specify the statement of typical control valve inherent flow characteristics and inherent rangeabilities is the purpose of this standard. Uses the basic definitions from ISA-75.05-1983 and defines specific terms related to flow characteristic and rangeability.
