The ISA Standards & Practices Board has removed this document from active status, meaning it is no longer being reviewed or assessed for accuracy, for relevance to current practices, or for further applications. However, some users may find that the document still provides valid and useful content for their specific needs.Establishes minimum ordering information; recommended acceptance, and qualification test methods, including calibration techniques; uniform terminology and drawing symbols; and recommended installation techniques for volumetric turbine flow transducers having an electrical output. Scope: These recommendations cover volumetric turbine flowmeters having an electrical output. The flowmeters are used to measure either flow rate or quantity of liquids, and can be either self-generating or modulating. Their use in cryogenic fluids will require special considerations, which are not fully described herein.Purpose: This document establishes the following for turbine flowmeters, especially those 2-inch diameter and smaller:Recommended minimum information to be specified in ordering.Recommended acceptance and qualification test methods including calibration techniques.Uniform terminology and drawing symbols .Recommended installation techniques
