A Withdrawn Standard is one, which is removed from sale, and its unique number can no longer be used. The Standard can be withdrawn and not replaced, or it can be withdrawn and replaced by a Standard with a different number.

ISO 14172:2003 prescribes requirements for the classification of nickel and nickel alloy covered electrodes for manual metal arc welding and overlaying. It includes those compositions in which the nickel content exceeds that of any other element.
