La prsente Norme internationale dfinit les exigences en matire de mandrins clefs d'ancrage et de siges d'ancrage utiliss dans les compltions des puits producteurs ou injecteurs pour l'installation d'quipements de contrle de dbit ou d'autres quipements employs par les industries du ptrole et du gaz naturel. Elle prend en compte les filetages assurant l'interface entre les mandrins clefs d'ancrage et les quipements de contrle de dbit et autres, mais ne couvre pas ceux assurant l'interface entre la colonne de tubes de production ou d'injection et les siges d'ancrage.
