A Withdrawn Standard is one, which is removed from sale, and its unique number can no longer be used. The Standard can be withdrawn and not replaced, or it can be withdrawn and replaced by a Standard with a different number.

The test methods described apply to all gold alloy coverings specified in ISO 3160-1 on watch cases and accessories, including bracelets when they are permanently attached to the case. The tests apply only to significant surfaces.
