A Withdrawn Standard is one, which is removed from sale, and its unique number can no longer be used. The Standard can be withdrawn and not replaced, or it can be withdrawn and replaced by a Standard with a different number.

The rules deal both with the tests by manufacturer and by user. Pressure tests shall be carried out by manufacturer. The required hydraulic pressure test is specified. Additionally storage, installation, maintenance, thermal and mechanical conditions are considered. Operation and safety are described.
