A Withdrawn Standard is one, which is removed from sale, and its unique number can no longer be used. The Standard can be withdrawn and not replaced, or it can be withdrawn and replaced by a Standard with a different number.

ISO 4249-3:2004 specifies the rim dimensions for a selection of rims for motorcycle tyres. It sets only those rim contour dimensions necessary for tyre mounting, and for fitting the tyre to the rim.
