A Withdrawn Standard is one, which is removed from sale, and its unique number can no longer be used. The Standard can be withdrawn and not replaced, or it can be withdrawn and replaced by a Standard with a different number.

Defines functions of valve operators used on the various sizes of mounting surfaces complying with the requirements of ISO 5599-1. This codification system is not to be applied directly to the product as is does not describe the many attributes which affect performance interchangeability.
