A Withdrawn Standard is one, which is removed from sale, and its unique number can no longer be used. The Standard can be withdrawn and not replaced, or it can be withdrawn and replaced by a Standard with a different number.

ISO/IEC 18041-4:2004 specifies the binding of the application program interface (API) defined in ISO/IEC 18025 to the C programming language. Each part of ISO/IEC 18041 defines the binding of that abstract specification to a particular programming language.
