This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the preformed gaskets made of vulcanized rubber or thermoplastic to be used in buildings and it applies to gaskets for use between external structural members, gaskets for use between internal structural members, gaskets used for attaching glasses or the like to door sets and sashes, and gaskets for use inside the frame and inside and outside the stiles around door sets and sashes.
