This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies limit gauges used for dimensional inspection of external threads of tolerance classes 3A, 2A, and 1A and of internal threads of 3B, 2B, and 1B specified in JIS B 0212, hereinafter referred to as the \"limit gauges for screw threads\", and gauges for checking these limit gauges, hereinafter referred to as the \"check gauges\".
