This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the diameters of holes to be drilled before threading the following screw threads or before carrying on similar works, hereinafter referred to as the hole size before \"threading\". The hole sizes before threading for the thread sizes M1.7, M2.3 and M2.6 shall comply with the Appendix to this standard.
