This Standard specifies the characteristics of hexalobular socket head tapping screws with nominal thread size from ST2.9 to ST6.3. If specifications other than those listed in this Standard are required, they should be selected from existing JIS standards, for example, JIS B 1007, JIS B 1021 and JIS B 1055.
