This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies steel welding pipe flanges and blind flanges to be jointed with a steel pipe used in carbon steel pipings for ordinary pipings, pressure service, high pressure service, high temperature service, alloy steel pipings, and stainless steel pipings of steam, air, gas, water, oil and the like, and those having the basic dimensions for a nominal pressure 5K to 30K of JIS G 2238.
