This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the manual gas cutting torches using acetylene gas, liquefied petroleum gas or gases having a preheating effect equivalent to or larger than those at a supply pressure less than 0.98 bar (1.0 kgf/cm*2) as preheating fuel gas. However, torches of special construction and torches equipped with an independent preheating tip nozzle are not included here.
