This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the tolerances, allowable deviations and permissible wears of limit gauges to be used for securing the dimensions in the limits shown by upper dimensional allowable deviation and the lower dimensional allowable deviation specified in JIS B 0401. further, this standard is applicable to limit gauges to be used for dimensions of machine parts other than hole and shaft.
