This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies methods for efficiency tests and cavitation tests of model hydraulic turbine and model reversible pump-turbine corresponding to single stage prototype hydraulic turbine and prototype reversible pump turbine. Further, the complete characteristic test method and temporary pressure pulsation test method are shown in Reference. In case where the specific speed is particularly low and therefore this Standard is difficult to apply, this Standard may be applied with adoption, rejection or supplement.
