This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the valves for cylinders mainly used for those of internal volume 0.1 liter or over to under 120 liter among the cylinders specified in JIS B 8230, cylinders specified in JIS B 8241, aluminium alloy gas cylinders and welding gas cylinders. However, the valves for dissolved acetylene cylinders and for liquefied petroleum gas cylinders are exempt from applications.
