Expansion joint for pressure vessels

This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies design, manufacturing and inspection method of the expansion joint intended to be used to absorb the expansion and contraction of axial direction generated by temperature change and so on, on the heat exchanger, container with jacket, etc. When the application of design method explained in annex 10 of JIS B 8265 to pressure vessels is allowed, it may be applied. Further, the expansion joint of fixed shell plate type heat exchanger designed according to JIS B 8274 shall be as specified in annex.
