This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the methods for testing and inspecting in the factory the centrifugal type oil pumps using oil as the liquid for pumping test. The extent of a pump shall be, as a rule, the portion partitioned by the sections of the pump suction flange (or the bell attached to the pump body proper) and the sections of discharge flange.
