This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the testing and inspecting methods at manufactories of gear pumps, screw pumps or positive displacement rotary pumps corresponding to those pumps. However, this will not be applicable to pump which constitutes a part of a machine. The range of a pump is the part which has been partitioned by the sections of suction flange and discharge flange of the pump.
