This Standard specifies the methods for performance test (including the cavitation test) given for the model pump corresponding to an actual pump at the time of delivery of a large sized pump for the practical use. Types of the pumps to which this Standard applies shall be the large size centrifugal pumps, mixed flow pumps and axial flow pumps, and to the reversal pump-turbine, this Standard does not apply.
