This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies V-belt driven centrifugal forward-curved bladed fans, hereinafter referred to as the \"fans\", which have size from 150 mm to 1600 mm in blade outer diameter and are mainly used for the ventilation and air conditioning of buildings. However, those fans incorporated in package type air conditioners, fan-coil units, or the like shall be excluded. The gas handled by the fans shall be air at a temperature from -15 centigrade degrees to +40 centigrade degrees.
