This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the technical guides to the general matters concerning the construction, function and operation and handling, and safety measures for the industrial combustion furnaces, hereinafter referred to as the \"furnaces\", such as the heating furnaces for metal rolling, heating furnaces for forging, furnaces for heat-treating metals, drying furnaces, that use liquid and gaseous fuels.
