This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the general matters concerning the safety protection facilities to provide for the industrial robots and their surroundings for the purpose of preventing the injuries of workers or persons around caused by the robots, hereinafter referred to as the \"robots\". This specification, however, shall not apply to portable robots or movable ones.
