This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the descriptive forms and functions, hereafter referred to as the "language specifications", of the programming language SLIM (Standard Language for Industrial Manipulators), hereafter referred to as SLIM, for enhancing the transplantability of motion programs between the various kinds of industrial robots, hereafter referred to as the "robots", to be used mainly for assembling works.
