This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies sound level meters for measurements of sound pressure and levels and weighted sound pressure levels. This Standard applies also to sound level meters including functions necessary for obtaining the equivalent continuous A-weighted sound pressure level or the sound exposure level. In such a case, the construction, performance etc. shall be as specified in Annex.
