This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies precision sound level meters for measuring sound pressure levels and sound levels. This Standard shall also apply to precision sound level meters including a function to obtain equivalent sound levels or sound exposure levels. The performances of meters including such a function shall be as specified in Appendix.
