Connecting devices for low-voltage circuits for household and similar purposes -- Part 1: General requirements

This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the connecting devices as separate entities for the connection of two or more rigid conductors (solid or stranded) or flexible conductors (complying with JIS C 3664, IEC 60344 or relevant JISs), having a cross-sectional area of 0.2 square millimetre or over to and including 35 square millimetre with a rated voltage of 1 000 V or under a.c. at frequency of not exceeding 1 000 Hz, or of 1 500 V or under d.c. used for household and similar purposes.
