This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies general industrial purpose enclosed sensitive switches of not more than 20 A rated current (thermal) for use in circuits of not more than 500 V a.c. at a frequency of 50 Hz or 60 Hz or of not more than 250 V d.c.. However, this standard does not cover such special switches as those of explosion-proof construction and filled with gas in their cases.
