This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies reed relays with a rated thermal withstand current 5 A or less for electric circuits of a.c. 250 V or less at a frequency of 50 or 60 Hz or of d.c. 250 V or less in industrial control circuits or mainly in signal transfer circuits of electronic apparatus.
