This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies general matters such as terms, symbols, classification, max. ratings and performances of transmitting and receiving modules for low speed fiber optic transmission with waveform reproducing and shaping functions which are used for transmission of NRZ digital signal at a transmission rate not exceeding 10 Mb/s through a multimode optical fiber.
