This Standard specifies fluorescent lamp luminaires for commercial, industrial and public lighting which employ fluorescent lamps of an input voltage not exceeding a.c. 300 V as their light source, and are connected with their power supply wires without using such connectors as attachment plugs and hang-type ceiling rosettes.
