This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies general matters common to various fuses intended for protecting electric lines of not exceeding a.c. 600 V at a frequency of 50 Hz or 60 Hz or not exceeding d.c. 750 V, hereinafter referred to as the "fuses". fuses for only short-circuit protection and those for only vehicles or communication circuits are, however, excluded.
