This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies household electric storage tank water heaters of push-up type used at a maximum working pressure not exceeding 100 kPa (kgf/cm*2) that have a rated power consumption not exceeding 10 kW and mainly utilizes midnight electric power (hereafter referred to as water heaters).
