This Japanese Industrial Standard is applicable for resistance welding equipment, guns with transformer, and movable welding equipment of various kinds show below. Transformers which are individually manufactured are out of the scape and the matters relating with safety are included. Systems and types of welding equipment ?single-phase equipment with alternating welding current; -single-phase equipment with rectified welding current by rectification of the output of the welding transformer; -single-phase equipment with inverter welding transformer; -three-phase equipment with rectified welding current by rectification of the output of the welding transformer; -three-phase equipment with a current rectification in the input of the welding transformer (sometimes called frequency convertor); -three-phase equipment with inverter welding transformers. a) Spot welding equipment (including portable spot welding machine) b) Projection welding equipment c) Seam welding equipment d) Butt welding equipments (upset welding equipment and flash welding equipment.
