This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies projection welding machines mainly composed of a single-phase transformer at a frequency of 50 Hz or 60 Hz, electronic switches and a press type pressurizing mechanism and used mainly for welding low carbon steel. However, control devices other than switches in main-current circuit are not included.
