This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies voltage reducing devices, hereinafter referred to as the \"reducing devices\" with a rated input voltage not exceeding 220 V of externally mounted type or built-in type for used with a.c. arc welling nachines, hereinafter referred to as the \"welders\" mainly consisting of single-phase transformer of frequency 50 Hz or 60 Hz.
