This Standard specifies requirements for electrode force measuring device for resistance welding equipment which measures static electrode force of spot welding electrode using a force sensing unit covering the range of 0.1 kN to 50 kN. The measuring devices with built-in resistance welding equipment are excluded in this Standard.
