This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies photometric and physical requirements, testing methods and marking requirements for dynamo lamps (including battery type) used as mounted to the cycles specified in JIS D 9111. However, young children bicycles, bicycles for racer forming a part of special cycles, uni-cycles, etc.. which is not used in the night and on public roads, are excluded.
