This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the defrosting performances and their testing methods of the windscreen defrosting systems, hereinafter referred to as the \"defrosters\", for the passenger cars specified in JIS D 0101. Furthermore, this standard is also applicable to that of which construction is in accordance with the passenger car, as appropriate.
