This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies stability and stability tests of fork lift trucks listed in the following. This Standard does not apply to fork lifts attached with a device (attachment) handling suspended loads which may swing freely. a) Counterbalanced fork lift trucks of rated capacity up to and including 50000 kg; b) Reach fork lift and straddle fork lift trucks of rated capacity up to and including 5000 kg; c) Side fork lift trucks of rated capacity up to and including 10000 kg; d) Order picking trucks of rated capacity up to and including 5000 kg; e) Pallet stackers and high-lift platform trucks of rated capacity up to and including 5000 kg
