This Standard specifies the general requirements for eddy current testing method using encircling coils, which is intended to detect, if there are any, the cracks and other flaws in steel wires, steel wire rods, round steel bars (2 mm to 100 mm in diameter), and steel tubes (4 mm to 180 mm in outside diameter).
