This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies requirements for the automated angle beam ultrasonic examination (including the method using phased array probe) of longitudinal imperfections of seamless steel tubes and longitudinal imperfections of welded portions of welded steel tubes (excluding submerged arc-welded tubes).
