This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the eddy current examination, using encircling coil, for the seamless steel pipes, welded steel pipes and forge welded steel pipes mainly of 4 mm to 180 mm in outside diameter and 0.7 mm to 20 mm in thickness. The general matter other than requirements specified in this Standard shall be in accordance with JIS G 0568.
