This Standard specifies molybdenum(VI) oxide gravimetric method after benzoin-alpha-oxime complex coprecipitation separation for the determination of molybdenum in iron and steel. This method is applicable to the determination of molybdenum contents of 0.03 % or over up to and including 12.0 % in mass fraction.
