This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the steel sheets and strips and corrugated sheets manufactured by processing steel sheets into the shape and dimensions specified in JIS G 3316, which are coated by the hot-dip process in a bath of molten metal containing about 5 % aluminium in mass fraction (including trace amount of magnesium, rare earth elements and the like) and the remainder zinc.
