This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the seamless nickel-chromium-iron alloy tubes intended to be used for such as heat exchangers or condensers used in chemical and petroleum industries, steam generators used in nuclear industry and the like, where the tube is designed for exchanging heat between the outside and inside of its body. The steel tubes for fired heaters are specified in JIS G 3467.
